CHRISTIAN CONCERN COMMITTEE

The Christian Concern Committee’s purpose is to deepen the faith of our congregation by embodying and extending God's welcome, healing, love, and by following the example of Jesus to evangelize by our actions. When we use our resource to reach the needs of our community; we move inward to the heart of the Church's calling. We endeavor to respond to human need from the heart of Christian compassion by being the hands and feet of Christ in a sometimes broken world. We recognize our calling both as individuals and as the Church to live in the world by ministering to its needs and contributing to the welfare of those in spiritual and physical poverty in ways that reflect God’s love for the world.

The Christian Concern Committee fulfills The Great Commission by Preaching the Gospel of Christ
through its actions and outreach to those requiring a hand up in our community.

a stronghold to the needy in his distress,

In all things I have shown you
that by so toiling one must help the weak,
remembering the words of the Lord Jesus,
how he said,
'It is more blessed to give than to receive.‘
